Welcome to Budge. By creating an account or using the Budge mobile application or this website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions with Hirolabz, which operates the Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Budge is a personal finance and life management app for iOS and Android. It lets you record and organize bills, cut-off periods, credit cards, checks, debts, projects, schedules, categories, and health-related records, and optionally share them with people you invite into your workspace. The Service is provided “as is” and may change as we add features and fix bugs.

2. Not a financial institution

Budge is a record-keeping tool. It does not connect to your bank, hold or transfer funds, process payments, issue credit, or provide financial, legal, medical, or tax advice. The figures in Budge are the figures you (or your workspace members) enter, and decisions you make based on them are your own responsibility.

3. Your account

You need an account with a valid email address and password to use Budge. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the records you enter in Budge (“Your Content”). You grant us the limited right to store and process Your Content solely to operate the Service. When you invite someone into your workspace, you authorize them to view and edit the content in that workspace until you remove their access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to access accounts, workspaces, or data that are not yours.
• Interfere with, overload, probe, or disrupt the Service or its backend.
• Reverse engineer or copy the app, except where allowed by law.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

6. Workspaces and sharing

Workspace invitations are sent to the email address you provide. Only invite people you trust: members of your workspace can see and change the records in it. We are not responsible for actions taken by people you have invited.

7. Termination and deletion

You can stop using Budge at any time and permanently delete your account and data from inside the app, under Profile, Account, Delete Account; our account deletion page sets out the steps. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will give notice (for example, in the app or by email) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
